Answers to Your Parent Orientation Questions:
"Can we send Kosher meat on meat lunch days? Or always dairy only?"
-Yes! Kosher meat is allowed on Tuesdays and Thursdays! Dairy is allowed on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays!
"Please explain division of day between General Studies room and the Judaic studies room."
-You can see your child's schedule below. The blue blocks are in the Judaic studies room and the orange blocks are in the General studies room. Homeroom takes place in the General studies room on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Homeroom takes place in the Judaic studies room on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
"Can we go to Tefillah and what times?"
- This year students are not chazznim (leaders in the service). Therefore, Tefillah is for students only during 3rd period.
"How does Art work in 1st grade? The schedule is confusing."
- 1st grade will be on a rotation for Art Wednesdays 9th period (during General studies) and Thursday 2nd period (during Judaic studies). Each class will have art 20 times throughout the year. Each class will rotate missing their GS and JS class. For example, 1A will have art 9/2 (during GS) and then the next time 1A will have art is 9/10 (during JS).
